In the midst of their protracted divorce dispute, Kevin Costner has provided his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner with a fresh deadline for moving out of the property where they previously lived.

According to reports, the Yellowstone actor stated that Baumgartner was “[grasping] at straws with one baseless argument after another” when attempting to justify why she should be allowed to continue residing at the California home.

According to court records acquired by People, Costner “respectfully requests that Christine be ordered to vacate his separate property residence forthwith and no later than 13 July 2023.” [Costner] “requests that Christine be ordered to vacate his separate property residence forthwith and no later than 13 July 2023.”

It comes after Baumgartner was quoted as saying that she would leave the beachside property by the 31st of August as long as Costner agrees to offer further financial support as the court determines.

After filing for divorce at the beginning of May, the handbag designer requested that the judge order Costner to pay a total of 248,000 dollars each month in child support for their three children.

She said that the sum is “less than the amount needed to maintain the children in their accustomed lifestyle.” In addition, she is seeking that the Bodyguard Star pay one hundred percent of the children’s private school tuition fees and healthcare expenditures.

It has been claimed that the sum Baumgartner is demanding is more than six times the amount that Costner gave, which was 38,000 dollars per month. Both sides want shared custody of the children, but Costner believes the amount his ex-wife is asking for is “inflated,” while she maintains that the money would help her establish a “suitable separate household” for the children.

Additionally, Costner has asserted that Baumgartner was expected to leave the household within a month of the divorce petition being filed, as stipulated by the prenuptial agreement that the exes had signed. She failed to meet the deadline and has continued to reside in a home that is worth 145 million dollars since then.

Baumgartner “can afford to move,” the legal team for Costner asserted in a fresh brief, adding that the plaintiff “has at her disposal almost $1.5 million in cash to find alternative housing.” Several wonderful properties with four bedrooms and four bathrooms are currently available, and each of these homes is located in close proximity to Kevin’s separate property and… Kevin has made a number of offers to be of assistance to her with her move.

According to documents acquired by TMZ, Costner was reportedly willing to offer his estranged wife $10,000 to cover moving fees, in addition to contributing $30,000 per month for a rental house. In an interview with People, a source close to Costner stated, “This is all about Christine. Kevin has gone above and beyond in his efforts to provide Christine with the required tools to locate a location that is acceptable for her to move into.

It is common knowledge that Baumgartner is eligible for a payment of around $1.4 million in accordance with the terms of the pre-nuptial agreement. It is believed that Kevin Costner has a net worth of about $250 million. After being divorced from his first wife Cindy Silva in 1994 – to whom he allegedly paid out an $80 million settlement – it was recorded in legal filings that Kevin Costner “found himself without a home base” as a result of the split.

In addition, Costner said that his work has been negatively impacted and that he is unable to “begin post-production work” on his upcoming film, which is titled Horizon: An American Saga since Baumgartner has not moved out of their shared residence.

He went on to say, “Because I am no longer comfortable sharing a domicile with Christine, I revised my vacation plans very regretfully and postponed returning home… This unexpected shift in my intentions is creating a significant conflict with the obligations I have made to my employer.

Instead of remaining in the California residence, the actor allegedly traveled to his ranch in Aspen, Colorado, which spans an area of 160 acres.

The Independent has attempted to obtain comment from Baumgartner’s and Costner’s respective reps.

Baumgartner stated in her petition for divorce that the couple had separated on April 11 and cited insurmountable conflicts as the reason for the split. On Wednesday, July 5th, a case management meeting is scheduled to take place with the exes.

It is with great regret that events beyond his control have unfolded which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to join in a dissolution of marriage proceeding. Costner’s attorneys acknowledged the couple’s breakup and said: “It is with great grief that Mr. During this challenging time, we ask that his, Christine’s, and their children’s right to privacy be honored.

The year 2004 was the year of the couple’s wedding, and they now have three children together: Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13. Before being divorced in 1994, Costner was married to Silva for a total of 16 years during their marriage. In addition, he has a son with Bridget Rooney and is a joint parent to their three children together.
