In February 2023, Feige said to Entertainment Weekly that the writers were shaping the next Spider-Man story.

During promotions for “The Crowded Room,” an Apple TV+ series in which Holland appears, the topic of a sequel to “Spider-Man” inevitably came up.
In a June interview with Inverse, Holland was as cryptic as possible regarding the plot of the fourth picture, saying only that there was “some stuff going on” that he was “excited about.”
