Patriots release WR Lynn Bowden Jr.

The New England Patriots have released wide receiver Lynn Bowden Jr.

Bowden Jr. was signed to the Patriots' practice squad on September 1, 2022.

He was later elevated to the active roster and played his only game for the Patriots against the Indianapolis Colts on November 6.

On January 30, 2023, Bowden Jr. signed a future contract with New England.

He was originally drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft (80th overall) from Kentucky.

Bowden Jr. was traded to the Miami Dolphins on September 5, 2020.

During his rookie season in 2020, he played in 10 games with four starts, catching 28 passes for 211 yards and rushing nine times for 32 yards.

Bowden Jr. spent the entire 2021 season on injured reserve and was released by Miami on August 30, 2022.
