The UFC once coveted Paige VanZant. She's Instagram's hottest star now. She defeated Kailin Curran in her UFC debut in 2014. She went 3-0 in the company after defeating Felice Herring and Alex Chambers.
Problems arose. VanZant lost to future UFC champion Rose Namajunas in December 2015. In August 2016, VanZant knocked out Beth Rawlings, but three losses in her next four fights ended her career. She kept fighting. Not yet.
VanZant lost two 2021 BKFC fights via decision. She's been modeling and influencing since then. BKFC president Dave Feldman doubts VanZant will return. Feldman told Mirror Fighting late last year, “I’m going to be talking to her this week and there’s a possibility that she returns on a big card we’ve got in April. “If she doesn’t, she won’t return to BKFC.”
The organization welcomes her, but she must decide what to do. This provides her fame to attract admirers for her other money streams. I don't think she'll turn it down for money—only if she's tired of fighting."
On Tuesday, the ex-UFC star posted stunning bathing suit photos and video. 20,000 likes and hundreds of comments followed the post. VanZant is unlikely to fight again.
