The "John Wick" franchise is at a series high in terms of critical acclaim (our own Jacob ....
...Hall couldn't stop raving about it following its SXSW premiere) and box office success.
However, when the most recent film, a 2.5-hour R-rated action epic, earns over $400 million at the box office,
you know this universe will continue to exist.The powers that be were already working on spin-offs,
both in the feature film and limited series spaces, as well as both prequels, even before "Chapter 4" became a huge hit.
