FORMER STEELERS DEFENDER HOPES TO RE-SIGN WITH TEAM

Anthony Chickillo, former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker, hopes to re-sign with the team.

Chickillo was released by the Steelers in March.

He was with the team for five seasons and played in 65 games.

Chickillo was a key special teams player for the Steelers.

He was also a backup linebacker and recorded 7.5 sacks during his time with the team.

Chickillo has not yet signed with another team.

The Steelers have not made any official statements regarding Chickillo's potential return.
