Close friend of NFL player Aaron Rodgers expresses opinions on his future that are misinterpreted.

After being cut by the New York Jets, Pat McAfee thinks Aaron Rodgers will be wanting to participate in the NFL season and hope to sign with another team.

Unless they get a trade offer for Rodgers, the Jets will most likely cutting him in the next few days; his market is not yet known as he is deciding whether or not he will play in 2025.

After being informed he will be let go by the Jets, Rodgers is reportedly taking his time to consider if he wants to play and probably will wait until he gets specific interest before deciding. McAfee has said why he thinks Rodgers wants to carry on his career despite being 42 later this year, while many are discussing whether he will play in 2025.

“I think he plays next year, just strictly because anytime this situation has arisen in the past, A.J. Hawk, who is quite tight with Aaron, goes like, ‘What else would Aaron do?'” McAfee said. A.J. always claims, Aaron is going to play football. Though Aaron has not informed A.J., I believe everyone around Aaron believes the choice might go really easily both ways.

“You learn a lot about this man and see Enigma. He is really competitive. All for him to improve his football performance. He plays balls. This man actually enjoys balls. He plays football the old-fashioned way. Still has the loose strap he undoes each and every single time. For him, hurting and yet playing is quite important.

“I believe many people overlook him for who he really is. Among humans on Earth, he is among the most competitive ones. He loves the NFL because, when he plays there, he can satisfy his competitive need. He wants to bring a procession to the Jets, and I believe his capacity to still play football at that level is something else. He most likely plays football once more; I’m not sure where that will be.”

Rodgers routinely joins the former’s show on ESPN, and McAfee’s co-host A.J. Hawk is good friend with him. After appointing new head coach Aaron Glenn and new general manager Darren Mougey last month, Jets confirmed they will be moving on from Rodgers.

Glenn and Mougey in a combined statement said, “Last week we met with Aaron and shared that our intention was to move in a different direction at quarterback.” “Having this conversation now helps to clarify things and give everyone the right time to make plans for our different futures.

“We want to wish him success going forward and thank him for the leadership, passion, and dedication he brought to the organization.”
